Andrew D. Gowdown specializes in helping his clients with complex personal injury cases. He handles a diverse range of cases ranging from traumatic brain injuries to wrongful deaths, as well as products liability and trucking accidents. Beyond personal injury law, Andrew also handles business and securities litigation matters.
He has been recognized by several publications and organizations including the Charleston Regional Business Journal, Super Lawyers, National Trial Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and Best Lawyers. Actively engaged in community service, he currently holds the position of President on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Association of South Carolina.
Prior to joining Rosen Hagood, Andrew served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Margaret B. Seymour of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law, where he served as the Editor in Chief of the University of Dayton Law Review. Notably, Andrew's contributions include his article titled, “The Noneconomic Damages Cap of Ohio Revised Code Section 2744.05(c)(1): Legislative Usurpation of the Constitutional Right to Trial by Jury,” published in the University of Dayton Law Review.
