Representative Experience

Attained $3MM settlement for client who suffered a mild traumatic brain injury, among other injuries, when a 90,000-pound cement truck collided into her vehicle. This may have been the first brain injury settlement in South Carolina involving diffusion tensor imaging, or DTI, a powerful type of magnetic resonance imaging that detects the disruption of water flow through the brain.

Represented a brother and sister from Hilton Head Island, SC, who were arrested after relocating seven wild animals a neighbor was allegedly keeping as pets. Successfully argued during five days of court testimony that the arrest, and subsequent harassment campaign launched by the neighbor, caused our clients severe emotional pain and suffering. The result was a $4.25MM jury award for our clients.

Attained a seven-figure settlement for our client in a product liability case where a tire defect caused her vehicle to crash, leaving our client with severe and permanent injuries.

Reached seven-figure settlement for client who suffered serious injuries when an over-served drunk driver came into oncoming traffic and crashed into her vehicle.

Successfully recovered more than $1.17MM for a family when their investment broker’s negligence and deceitful advice caused them substantial investment fund losses.
